Dedication of Baptismal Font

Thanks to the generosity of our sisters and brothers in Christ at the Episcopal Cathedral in Philadelphia, we now have a font in our worship space each time we gather. We are called to remember that we are the baptized people of God each time we gather in prayer in the name by which we were baptized - in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit - each time we confess our sins and hear again God’s promise of forgiveness - the promise we first heard when we were baptized - and each time we confess our faith in the words of the Creed - the confession of which was first made at our baptism. We are Living Waters Lutheran Church, and we now have water around which to gather as we celebrate our one faith, one hope, and one baptism.
